Education & Youth Empowerment 

At Telrex, we believe in nurturing the minds that will shape tomorrow. Throughout the years, we have supported various local schools by sponsoring or collaborating on projects. These included our collaboration with Windaroo Valley High School to manufacture spare parts, provide students with valuable learning opportunities and support their education. 

Additionally, we have funded real tree planting at Chatswood Hills State School, contributing to a greener future for our community. We saw first-hand how these programs and projects ignited a passion for learning and encouraged creative problem-solving from our future leaders. We have also sponsored various events at John Paul College to support their community events, fundraisers and sporting programs.

Our collaboration with Substation33 reflects our commitment to social responsibility. Substation33 offers a transformative workplace for individuals from long-term unemployment and marginalised backgrounds, helping them gain confidence and skills for sustainable employment. This initiative also addresses the critical issue of electronic waste, as Substation33 actively works to recycle, repurpose, and reuse e-waste, significantly reducing environmental impacts.

Sustainability 

Sustainability is not just a buzzword at Telrex; it's been our commitment since 1999. We take pride in proactively approaching e-waste. By refurbishing and repurposing communication technology, we give them a new lease on life. This diverts tons of waste from landfills every year.

We are also a proud sponsor of The Mini Farm Project, specifically the farm at Loganlea State High School.  Together, we are working to feed Australians in need for free all year round. We firmly believe in the principles of reuse, reduce, and recycle and strive to incorporate these practices whenever possible. One of our key initiatives is selling refurbished goods to reduce e-waste within our community, promoting a more sustainable and circular economy.

Fundraising & Community Support 

Our team is fiercely passionate about supporting the efforts to find a cure for cancer. For over 2 decades, we have been loyal supporters of Tour de Cure and have helped fund incredible children's cancer research projects from QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, Griffith University, and The University of Queensland Diamantina Institute.

At Telrex we have been delighted to support the Wildlife Rescue Minjerribah. Our contributions aided in the Minjerribah Wildlife Fundraising efforts, which are crucial in preserving the unique wildlife of Minjerribah (Stradbroke Island).

Further Community Support

Through our longstanding partnerships with community clubs across Brisbane and Greater Brisbane Regions, we’re doing our part to help our local youth realise their full potential through sport. 

Through our longstanding partnerships with the Eastern Suburbs Football Club, we are actively investing in developing and growing our local youth through sport. We believe in the power of sports to instil essential values, build character, and empower individuals to reach their full potential. By supporting local sporting initiatives, we contribute to our community's overall well-being and success.
