Call Diversion Setup Help

It's that time of year that we will be asked how to divert calls to mobiles over the holidays.
These are a couple of common codes. Otherwise, customers need to call their carrier and possibly request call forward as a feature, this may apply for SIP customers.
Telstra PSTN Customers
- Lift handset press line 1 wait for tone.
- Enter *21 followed by the number you wish to forward to then #.
- Eg. *21 0400 000 000# then hang up
- Hang up
- To turn it off again. Lift handset, wait for tone. Enter #21# and hang up.
Telstra DOT Customers
May not work on all DOT services
- Lift handset press line 1 wait for tone.
- Enter *72# followed by the number you wish to forward to. Eg. *72# 0400 000 000 then hang up
- Hang up
- To turn it off again. Lift handset, wait for tone. Enter *73# and hang up.
Optus
Turn diversion on:
- Listen for a dial tone
- Dial *78
- Enter the phone number you want to divert to (including the area code for Fixed Line numbers)
- Listen for two short beeps (this confirms the diversion is active)
Turn diversion off:
- Listen for a dial tone
- Dial #78
- Listen for two short beeps (this confirms the diversion is removed)
